Job Description

General Description :
Professional Security Officer responsible for watching over client sites in Hubbardston, Worcester, Marlborough, Littleton and Clinton. Guard will perform access control and act as a visual deterrent on site. Guard will be monitoring CCTV surveillance and responsible for detecting and reporting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. Security Officer must be observant, punctual, respectful, responsible, calm, and able to de-escalate situations.
Essential Functions:
Conducting foot patrols of sites regularly to maintain order and establish a presence Conduct access control for foot traffic Observe and Report Secure all exits, doors, and windows during shift and at end of shift Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify issues Respond to alarms as required by clients Submit daily activity reports using company-provided software Provide a professional level of service to clients/customers
Requirements:
21+ years of age Drivers License and vehicle (Vehicle used for job site) Pass a CORI(background check) Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Excellent observation skills Familiarity with report writing
Skills Preferred:
Experience as a security guard and/or Military/Law Enforcement. Knowledge of legal guidance for area security and public safety Tech-savvy Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
High School Diploma Expectations:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time. Must be able to work evenings, nights, overnights, and weekends. Dependable and reliable attendance record. Maintain a drug-free workplace. Customer Service oriented Excellent communication skills Ability to make decisions with limited supervision Work independently

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
