In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, firearm handling, and conflict management will be essential to effectively deter threats and respond swiftly to incidents. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical security checks to identify potential risks or breaches. Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to security incidents by executing emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols, AED operation, CPR, and first aid as needed. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities to ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as part of security clearance processes. Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, firearms (where legally permitted), CCTV cameras, and alarm systems with strict adherence to safety regulations. De-escalate conflicts through effective communication and conflict management techniques while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with knowledge of physical security practices. Valid certification in firearm handling, Taser use, CPR, AED operation, first aid, and emergency response procedures. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and access control technologies. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for patrol or equipment setup. Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity. Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and legal standards governing armed security operations. Exceptional customer service skills combined with the ability to manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate tense situations.
