• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when directed
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Loss prevention experience is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
