Patrol the assigned property and identify safety or security concerns. Monitor entrances, exits and customer activity. Respond appropriately to incidents and contact management or law enforcement when required. Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports. Follow EyeQ policies, client post orders and supervisor instructions. Arrive on time, properly uniformed and ready for duty. Remain at the assigned post until the shift ends and proper relief arrives. Provide professional customer service to employees, customers and visitors. Requirements Valid Maryland security guard certification. Reliable transportation to Fulton, Columbia, Bowie & or Clarksville, MD. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Availability to work up to 32 hours per week. Ability to work assigned 12-hour shifts when scheduled. Ability to stand, walk and conduct patrols for extended periods. Professional appearance and communication skills. Working cellphone and reliable contact information. Ability to complete required written or electronic reports. Must successfully complete all lawful pre-employment screening requirements. Post abandonment, sleeping on duty, falsifying time records or leaving before being properly relieved may result in immediate removal from the assignment and disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
