Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Glen Burnie, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns. Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
