Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and perform regular surveillance checks to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to verify identities and ensure safety compliance. Respond promptly to incidents by managing conflicts professionally and utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or supplies. Operate security tools such as Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CPR devices to provide first aid in emergencies. Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately. Manage access control by verifying credentials, performing security screenings, and maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits. Conduct routine patrols of the facility, checking fences, gates, CCTV equipment, and other security infrastructure for integrity and functionality. Experience Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques. Certification or training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and manual handling is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems (closed-circuit television) and loss prevention strategies. Ability to perform background checks accurately while maintaining confidentiality. Experience managing conflict situations with professionalism and tact in high-pressure environments. Knowledge of security protocols including the use of Taser devices and other non-lethal defense tools is advantageous.
