School Security Officer - Part Time

Part-time School Security Officer Position 7:00am to 12:00pm 1:00pm to 6:00pm

Full Job Description:

Assist in monitoring school parking lots with visibility. Assist with health screening school occupants upon entry. Conduct perimeter and vehicle checks of the buildings. Assist with daily traffic control on school property.

Specialized Education:

Training, knowledge, experience and certification(s) required. Prior Security experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

List the specialized clerical, administrative, technical, or managerial skills needed to perform this position. High School Diploma required Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to deal with high stress while maintaining professionalism. High School Diploma required Must be able to pass both security and school background checks and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

List the minimum physical requirements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel ad talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk for 5 hours or more. May have to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
