Full Job Description Business Title:
Security Officer Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Security Officer at Patriot Security Enterprises LLC is to ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors by maintaining a visible and professional presence, monitoring surveillance equipment, and conducting regular patrols.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Operate and monitor security control panels, alarm systems, and surveillance equipment to detect and respond to potential security breaches. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, providing assistance to emergency services as required. Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel to coordinate response to incidents. Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, representing Patriot Security Enterprises LLC with integrity and respect.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security officer role or similar position. Proven experience in monitoring and patrolling premises to ensure safety and security.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong observational and surveillance skills. Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using security equipment and technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
