This position is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures relative to the safety and security of company property and personnel, monitoring building entrances and exits as well as building grounds, reporting violations, fire, accident, theft and vandalism and assisting with the various day to day security issues for the facility. Company pension & 401K Health & Extended Benefits Opportunities for professional development Tuition reimbursement Footwear subsidy program A variety of committee driven employee engagement activities Free Parking What You'll Do Maintain safe and security of premises, products and personnel; Review security footage; Monitor and escort Visitors/Contractors as required; View and document activity on security videos, patrols, monitor staff; monitor intrusion and fire alarm functionality Run, update and write reports; print key scan reports, security reports, incident and activity reports, alarm reports, lottery ticket shredding reports Provides assistance to employees, customers, contractors, visitors, and vendors directly; Manage employee badges (new, replacements, temps) Perform new employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor orientations and authorizations Other duties as assigned; Process all Criminal records checks Who You Are Ability to defuse conflict and remain calm; performing duties in a professional manner Ability to distinguish right from wrong in terms of general understanding of the law and detect suspicious activity and behavior Ability to manage stress in response to critical situations and identify an emergency and know when it is necessary to contact law enforcement Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures and analyze information to determine the best solution and solve problems Able to work alone with limited supervision in a diverse environment Ability to maintain accurate records and write clear and concise reports Ability to work with all levels of organizations in a courteous and respectful manne What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED Written and verbal communication skills Report writing skills Intermediate computer usage skills Basic MS office skills (excel, work, outlook) Previous experience in law enforcement or security field Experience in a security field preferred.
