Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed in Roseville, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting security-related concerns and responding professionally to evolving situations. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures. Assist with directions, visitor interactions, and communication with retail staff while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
