AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access-control issues to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed. Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Handcuffing certification is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
