Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, effective conflict management, and prompt response to incidents. Duties Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are upheld Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff, controlling access points efficiently and professionally Respond swiftly to emergencies by providing first aid or CPR when necessary, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved Perform loss prevention activities by identifying potential theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure comprehensive record-keeping Skills Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security procedures Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and conflict management strategies First aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security best practices Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Background in military or law enforcement is a plus for handling high-pressure situations confidently Join us as a Security Officer and become an essential part of creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive.
