Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and provide directions or assistance to occupants and guests.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
