Shield Defense Agency - Now Hiring Part-Time Security Agents Lake of the Ozarks | Waterfront & Dockside Venues Shield Defense Agency is currently hiring part-time security personnel to work at multiple high-energy waterfront bars and entertainment venues at Lake of the Ozarks . This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong situational awareness, a professional presence, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment for guests both on the docks and inside the venues . Our team works closely with venue management to ensure patron safety, orderly operations, and a positive experience for guests arriving by boat or land.

Schedule:

Multiple shifts available Friday and Saturday Midday, Evening, and Late-Night Coverage Typical shifts range 11:00 AM - 3:00 AM Additional holiday weekends and special event opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities:

Monitor venue entrances, docks, and access points Verify identification and enforce venue policies Maintain a safe and controlled environment during high-volume nightlife operations Respond professionally to disturbances, intoxicated patrons, or escalations Communicate effectively with venue staff, management, and fellow security personnel Provide professional customer service while maintaining authority and situational control

Requirements:

Prior experience in security, event staffing, bar/nightlife, or crowd management is a plus Must be 21 years or older Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods Strong communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced lake nightlife environment Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

Missouri Security License (not required but preferred) CPR / First Aid Certification Prior Law Enforcement, Military, or Security background Experience working bars, nightclubs, or large entertainment venues Join a fast-growing professional security team providing services to some of the most popular waterfront venues at Lake of the Ozarks.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
