We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Facility Security Officer.

Job Description:

As a Facility Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of our facilities, personnel, and assets. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle potentially sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the facility, including checking credentials and screening visitors. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter unauthorized activity. Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify and respond to security breaches or suspicious activity. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety. Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security threats, in a timely and appropriate manner. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, activities, and observations. Provide training to staff on security protocols and procedures. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to security.

Requirements:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field. Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Proficiency in using security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems. Physical fitness and ability to perform security patrols and respond to emergencies. Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and security requirements is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent.
