Job Description As a Security Officer Entry Control in Jackson, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, manage visitor access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor access control points, verify credentials, process visitor entry, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter points, as post orders allow. Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions by maintaining awareness of access activity and reporting concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
