Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Oxford, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and potential hazards common to an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders during incidents, drills, or operational disruptions while following post orders and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
