Key Responsibilities:
Asset Protection:
Monitor and patrol construction sites to deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Access Control:
Manage entry and exit points, verifying authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
Patrol & Surveillance:
Conduct regular patrols around the site perimeter, interior areas, and equipment storage zones to ensure security and identify potential risks.
Incident Reporting:
Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards to supervisors, maintaining accurate records of your observations and actions.
Emergency Response:
Act as a first responder to incidents, including administering first aid, CPR, or AED when needed.
Communication:
Work closely with construction site personnel and management, providing clear updates on security matters and collaborating to maintain a secure environment.
Customer Service:
Greet, assist, and direct workers, visitors, and delivery personnel in a professional and helpful manner, ensuring a positive experience.
What We're Looking For:
Age Requirement:
18 years or older.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Skills:
Attention to detail and vigilance to identify potential security issues on construction sites.
Certification:
Security Officer Certification (or ability to obtain)
Language:
Fluency in English (bilingual skills are a plus).
Eligibility:
Authorized to work in the United States.
Working Conditions & Availability:
Environment:
Work outdoors in various weather conditions on active construction sites.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, and remain alert for extended periods, with occasional lifting or running if needed.
Schedule:
Flexibility for shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, based on site requirements. Guards assigned to construction sites should expect to be assigned to days, evenings or night shifts.
Qualifications:
Pass a background check, employment verification, and motor vehicle record check. Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening. Commitment to upholding Weatherspoon's values of respect, integrity, and reliability.
