As an Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer, you help protect a government facility through vehicle and foot patrols, access control, and incident response. Working part time, you conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas, monitor entry points and credentials, and document and report incidents. You use sound judgment, follow post orders and legal requirements for weapons, and provide professional, customer-focused security to employees and visitors. Responsibilities Provide customer service while following site procedures, access control rules, and emergency response protocols. Perform regular and random armed vehicle and foot patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document actions taken. Monitor entry points, verify identification and credentials, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity. Carry and maintain authorized firearms and equipment in line with laws, licensing, and company policies.
