Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and armed credentials. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Conduct regular and random armed foot and vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and incident information as required. Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
