  • Securitas Security Services is expanding our Security Team at Lonza located in Newington, NH. We are looking for
  • Part-Time and Full-Time Security Officers
  • to fill various shifts
  • .
    • The ideal candidate brings a background in military service, law enforcement, or security, along with strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
    Previous experience in security or management is strongly preferred but not required, as Securitas offers a comprehensive training program to support your success. Whether you are just starting your career or in retirement, Securitas is a GREAT choice!
    • Pay Rate:
    • Starting at $20.00/hr with shift differential for 3 rd shift being $21.20
    • Schedules/Shifts Available:
    • 1 st Shift, Friday
    • Sunday, Wednesday, 6:00am
    • 2:00pm , 32 hrs/week 2 nd Shift, Friday
    • Monday, 2:00pm
    • 10:00pm, 32 hrs/week 2nd Shift, Sunday
    • Thursday, 2:00pm
    • 10:00pm, 40 hrs/week 3 rd Shift, Friday
    • Monday, 10:00pm
    • 6:00am, 32 hrs/week 3 rd Shift, Sunday
    • Thursday, 10:00pm
    • 6:00am, 40 hrs/week

    • Requirements:
    • + 18 Years of age or older.
    + High School Diploma or GED. + Standard computer / technology skills needed. + Previous Military and/or Law enforcement experience a plus!! + Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, & have a strong work ethic + Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred. + Strong customer service skills. + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. + Must be able to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout shift
    • During various weather conditions. + Must be able to stay alert & have great attention to detail. + Must be comfortable conducting access control duties. + Must have a reliable means of transportation & communication.

    In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include: + Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations. + May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area. + Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements. + May be required to work overtime without advance notice. + Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. + Keyboarding, basic computer usage, and operating controls. + Seeing, hearing, speaking and writing clearly in order to communicate with employees and clients, observe and report incidents, and direct others. + Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. + Occasionally reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. + Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. + Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. + On occasion it may be required to perform stressful and physical activity. + Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others. + May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information.
