An Armed Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Have a license to carry a weapon ranging from a club to a firearm. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

Job Description
Job Type Part-Time Employment Opportunity Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the exciting role of an Armed Diplomatic Security Officer. In this role, you'll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation's most critical assets and diplomats. You will be part of the comprehensive security solution to protect ours and visiting nations' diplomats across multiple locations in the United States.
Specific benefits include:
Competitive pay starting at $30.18 an hour plus an additional $5.50 an hour for health benefits 401(k) Health, Dental & Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Minimum Qualifications- Pass a Physical Readiness Test consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5 mile run
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Fluent in both the written and spoken English language
- Possess a valid United States driver's license
- Possess a Pistol Permit
- Possess a valid WA Armed Guard Card
- Possess a minimum of three (3) years active-duty military service, having held the rank of E-4 or higher upon Honorable Discharge; OR,
- Have minimum of three (3) years of federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience; OR,
- Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited school of learning; OR,
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of verified armed security officer experience within the most recent four (4) years.
