Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a critical utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or utility-site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations. Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
