As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing operations location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
