As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
