Your proactive approach and quick response will ensure the security of the premises while providing excellent service to visitors and staff alike. Duties Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical inspections to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Control access points by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry Conduct thorough security checks, including loss prevention measures and conflict management when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and shift documentation for accountability and future reference Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while providing courteous assistance to all visitors and staff Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor premises continuously and identify potential threats Experience Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating strong situational awareness and decision-making skills Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring tools Certified in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies Familiarity with conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations safely Background in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or property damage Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism at all times Strong understanding of security protocols, including access control procedures and emergency response plans
