Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking energetic and vigilant High School Security Personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining order, monitoring campus activities, and responding promptly to any security concerns. Your proactive presence will foster a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth, while your expertise in security protocols will help prevent incidents and manage conflicts effectively. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the safety of our educational community through active surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor campus entrances, hallways, and common areas using CCTV systems and on-site patrols to ensure safety. Conduct regular surveillance checks to identify suspicious activity or potential hazards. Enforce school policies and security procedures with professionalism and confidence. Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents or conflicts, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary. Manage access control by verifying visitor credentials and maintaining logs of all entries and exits. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure effective resolution. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is preferred; training can be provided if needed. Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and security technology is advantageous. Strong understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts or emergencies effectively.
