Job Description

Las Vegas Recovery Hospital is currently seeking a Security Officer. Join our dynamic team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment where your efforts are recognized and valued.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain signatures from all visitors. Maintain accurate visitor logs. Conduct rounds in a timely and unpredictable manner. Provide assistance to nursing staff or any personnel needing support. Establish positive interactions with patients and visitors. Enforce hospital policies related to safety and security. Provide written documentation of visitor or patient complaints and concerns. Communicate any issues to the manager in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee.
Knowledge and Job Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills; basic computer skills. Ability to assist with managing unsatisfied patients, visitors, and similar situations. Able to respond appropriately during crises. Ability to lift patients. Physical dexterity. Ability to recognize untoward, emergent, or unusual situations or behaviors. Ability to work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself, others, and hospital equipment.
Education:
High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required.
Experience:
Hospital security experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of security experience required.

Up to $23.00 per hour Shift availability: Night Shift (Required)
