PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to verify that entry activity follows site protocols, reporting suspicious behavior, security-related concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts. Support Allied Universal post orders by maintaining a visible presence, preparing incident reports, and assisting with security-related responses during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
