A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

Duties/Responsibilities Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents. Conduct regular patrols. Monitor activities. Surveillance. Access control. Safety escorts. Using provided communication devices. Represent SSNW's brand. Properly wear the issued uniform. Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR). Complete Incident Reports. Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services. Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures. have active guard license in Nevada Must have Graveyard/ Weekend availability Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle Must have a clean criminal record and driving record Access to a smartphone with access to the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting. Reliable transportation, (must own your own car.) Honesty and integrity. Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays. Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situations. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Prior public safety and/or military experience preferred. Knowledge of security protocols and equipment. Physical Requirements Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols. Able to stand 8-12 hours a day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
