Security Guard - Part-Time

Security Guard Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to fill the position of Security Guard - Part-Time. $21.50 to $23.50 per hour based on skills and experience. Weekly (20 hours) Schedule; Monday - Friday; 10am to 2pm.

Security Guard Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Previous security experience preferred.

MUST HAVE A NYS SECURITY LICENSE

Excellent observations skills. Good interaction skills and ability to take charge and react appropriately in problem situations.

Security Guard Job Summary:

Ensure safety of the facility by controlling access and prioritizing security. Be conscious of government guidelines and regulations. Be alert and have excellent observations skills, able to assess the conduct of people and identify dubious activity. Interact well with others and be able to take charge and deal with problem makers.
