In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence will help deter potential threats, respond swiftly to incidents, and maintain a calm, professional atmosphere. Responsibilities Check I.D. at door and know how to tell a fake. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect unusual activity or safety hazards and respond promptly. Enforce security policies by managing conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management techniques. Assist in emergency response procedures, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary, and liaising with law enforcement or emergency services. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches to ensure accurate record-keeping. Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting concerns immediately. Experience Prior experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Background in military service or related fields can be advantageous due to discipline and conflict management skills.
