Job Description
Overview UBS Arena is hiring Event Security Officers . The Event Security Officer reports to the Event Security Manager and is primarily responsible for security operations during all events. The Event Security Officer ensures that all operational activities are effective and meet industry show standards as well as a strong focus on customer satisfaction requirements. This role pays an hourly rate of $24.15 (per CBA). Benefits as per the union agreement. This position will remain open until October 23, 2026. Responsibilities Responsible for providing overall security for all ticketed and non-ticketed events. Effectively service guests, clients, and employees. Team player and self-motivator. Work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Will be expected to work all posts assigned to them. When required, use company-provided and approved communication devices such as two-way radios. Operate detecting devices and equipment to screen all individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited items into UBS Arena. Write reports to document incidents involving guests and employees. Qualifications 1-3 years of previous experience in an Event Security role preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have a demonstrated ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must hold and maintain an active NYS Security License.
