Security Guard

Unarmed Security Guard - School PAC Force Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Guard to provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff, visitors, and school property.

Responsibilities:

Monitor school entrances, hallways, parking lots, and surrounding grounds. Control access to the building and verify visitor identification. Patrol assigned areas and report suspicious activity, hazards, or security concerns. Help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment. Assist school administrators and staff during emergencies, drills, and special events. Observe and report incidents accurately and complete required reports. De-escalate conflicts and respond calmly to disruptive situations. Coordinate with school personnel and local law enforcement when necessary. Enforce school policies and security procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid New York State Security Guard License required (if applicable). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain professional around children, parents, and staff. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Prior school security experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

This is an unarmed position focused on safety, visibility, and customer service. Security guards are expected to build positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence at all times.

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
