PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and vendors at a government facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Monitor the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify authorized access, maintain visitor records, and issue or collect credentials in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Observe activity at the entry point and surrounding lobby areas, report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts, and help to deter prohibited activity. Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with facility personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required. A New York State Security Guard License is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
