Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior. Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors. Respond promptly to emergency situations following established procedures, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns encountered during shifts. Perform background checks on visitors or vendors when necessary to ensure compliance with security policies. Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor. Requirements Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and perform effective conflict management. Familiarity with fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and compliance with security regulations. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and conduct patrols across large areas effectively. Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and ensure compliance with legal standards related to security operations.
