PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic locations to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence. Support retail location operations by assisting with access control, checking credentials when required, and/or communicating clearly with staff and first responders during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
