Job Description

Snoop Investigations & Security is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer for a part-time corporate security assignment at MVP Health in Schenectady, NY. The officer will be responsible for protecting employees, visitors, and property while maintaining a professional and visible security presence.

$27.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas and monitor the premises for security and safety concerns. Monitor and control access to the facility. Inspect entrances, doors, windows, and other designated areas. Identify and respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, and unauthorized access. Enforce site policies and established security procedures. Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies. Coordinate with police, fire, or EMS when necessary. Complete incident reports and document security-related activity. Communicate security concerns to supervisors and appropriate personnel. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with employees, visitors, and the public. Follow all company and client security procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while on duty.
Required Qualifications:
Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License. Current 8-Hour Annual In-Service Training Certificate. 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare clear and accurate incident reports. Professional, alert, dependable, and reliable. Ability to exercise sound judgment when responding to incidents. Ability to work independently and follow established procedures. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
Preferred Experience:
One or more of the following is preferred: 2+ years of full-time law enforcement experience. 2+ years of military service with honorable discharge. 3+ years of professional security experience. Previous corporate security experience.
Pay and Benefits:
