Job Description

Position Summary:
Patrols casino premises and/or guards casino posts to maintain safety and security; prevent underage gambling and casino floor access, protect assets and ensure observance of applicable laws and casino regulations; responds and assists guests and team members who require medical attention.

Essential Job Functions:
Responds to all medical related incidents on the property Performs specific security duties as outlined by the Security Department policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all company assets as well as the safety and welfare of guests and team members Prepares reports as required Verifies patrons identifications to prevent those under the age of 21 from gaining access to the Rivers Casino & Resort property Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures Handles patrons inquiries and complaints and will solicit the support of a Security Supervisor as necessary All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
New York Emergency Medical Technician certification High School diploma or equivalent Casino hotel experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred Must be able to walk, run, stand, kneel, stretch, push, pull and pull weight for a full 8 hour shift Ability to communicate with team members and guests Ability to be a TEAM player Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
