Private Residential Construction Site TAK Protective Group is seeking professional, dependable Unarmed Security Guards to provide access control and site security at a private residential construction project in Southampton, NY. This position is primarily responsible for controlling and documenting access to the property while maintaining a professional, attentive security presence. The site has regular activity from contractors, vendors, deliveries, household personnel, and other authorized visitors, making strong communication, organization, and situational awareness essential. Responsibilities Maintain a professional security presence at the designated access point Control entry and exit of contractors, vendors, deliveries, staff, and authorized visitors Verify individuals against approved access lists and site instructions Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, vehicle, and delivery logs Communicate with site management regarding individuals requiring access authorization Direct contractors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate entrances or locations Monitor gates and designated access areas Conduct routine visual observation of the immediate property perimeter and access points Identify and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, safety concerns, or unusual circumstances Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other security personnel Complete daily activity and incident reports as required Follow established post orders, confidentiality requirements, and site-specific procedures Qualifications Applicants must be professional, reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a high-end private residential environment .

Candidates should have:

Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card Prior security, access control, residential security, construction-site security, or related experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain attentive during periods of limited activity Ability to professionally interact with contractors, vendors, household personnel, and property representatives Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate logs Reliable transportation to Southampton, NY Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to follow detailed instructions and established chain of command Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the property, residents, guests, schedules, and site activity Position Expectations This is an unarmed access-control assignment . Guards are expected to be observant and proactive while remaining courteous and professional. This is not a traditional construction-site gatekeeper position. Discretion, communication, presentation, and sound judgment are particularly important due to the private residential nature of the assignment. Confidentiality is mandatory. Photography, video, social media posting, or discussion of the client, property, residents, visitors, vehicles, or activities observed while on assignment is strictly prohibited.
