Prior law enforcement or related security experience is preferred . Armor Security provides security services at a variety of client locations throughout the Syracuse, NY region. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with the public. Duties may vary depending on the assigned location and may include conducting security patrols, monitoring the facility, controlling access, assisting customers and visitors, responding to security-related situations, completing required reports, and performing other security-related duties as assigned. Schedules and shift lengths may vary based on the needs of the assigned location and may include extended shifts. A valid New York State Armed Security Guard License is required for this position. Retired law enforcement personnel without an Armed Guard License are encouraged to apply, as they may be eligible for a training waiver or exemption through New York State.
