Job Description

Part-Time School District Guard Duties include: Standing watch/patrol over a specific area during an assigned shift to safeguard grounds and buildings Make security checks of gates, windows, doors, etc. to prevent unauthorized entry Directs parking of visitors' vehicles Must be able to deal courteously with the public Report incidents and suspicious activities to supervisors in accordance with company policies and procedures security guidelines
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a NYS Security Guard License and NYSED fingerprint clearance Active and retired law enforcement preferred
Skills:
Proven working experience in law enforcement, a security guard or relevant position Ability to work effectively as part of a team member Excellent communication skills Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Pay:
$25.50 per hour
