PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directing visitors and reporting suspicious or unauthorized behavior. Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel regarding incidents and observations.
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
