Job Description

Securitas is seeking professional Security Guards to protect client people, property, and assets in the Safety, Security & Law Enforcement department. In this on-site role, you will monitor access control and CCTV, conduct patrols, respond to incidents and alarms, and document detailed reports while delivering courteous customer service. Working within a mission-driven, safety-focused culture, you'll receive structured training, support in obtaining certifications, and clear paths for advancement into supervisory or specialist roles as you help safeguard facilities and communities. Responsibilities Monitor entrances, exits, and CCTV to control access and deter theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify and address safety or security hazards Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following Securitas and client protocols Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports Provide professional, customer-focused assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a calm, respectful presence Communicate with supervisors, clients, and public safety agencies as needed Participate in required training, drills, and certifications to maintain readiness Required Skills Access control CCTV monitoring Incident reporting Patrol procedures Emergency response De-escalation techniques Report writing Two-way radio operation Basic computer proficiency Customer service
