Job Summary Security Specialist I - Part Time Milacron is looking for a Security Specialist I - Part Time to join our team on site in Batavia, OH and Mt. Orab, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining facility security, controlling access, supporting safety procedures, and serving as a professional first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors. This role supports weekend coverage and provides schedule flexibility during the week as needed.
Work You'll Do:
Provide security coverage through facility patrols, access control, and monitoring of alarms and CCTV systems Serve as a professional first point of contact for visitors, customers, and vendors while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment Respond to incidents, alarms, weather events, and other emergencies while documenting activities accurately Maintain incident reports, emergency action plans, and required administrative documentation using basic computer systems Take initiative during downtime by identifying safety or facility concerns, maintaining lobby and entry areas, and supporting site standards
Qualifications:
Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent Availability to work weekends and provide additional weekday coverage as needed Ability to work onsite in a facility environment Basic computer skills, including the ability to write reports and update documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once Professional communication skills and comfort interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including stair use Ability to remain calm and effective during urgent or emergency situations Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Nice to
