Must be available to work overnight shifts and weekends About the Position Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Overnight Security Officer at a premier retail destination in the Cleveland-area market. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who work well independently, remain alert during overnight operations, and take pride in maintaining a safe and professional environment. The Overnight Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting the property after hours through proactive patrols, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence throughout the facility. Key Objectives Maintain a safe and secure environment during overnight operations Deter criminal activity, trespassing, theft, and vandalism through high-visibility patrols Monitor property activity and respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Maintain professional interactions with tenants, contractors, vendors, and emergency responders Essential Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) Enforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific procedures Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of the property Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and dispatch communications Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns Write detailed and accurate incident reports Perform access control for authorized personnel and contractors Respond to emergencies and assist law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel when necessary Maintain a professional and alert presence throughout overnight hours Operate mobile License Plate Reader (LPR) systems as assigned Required Skills & Abilities Strong written communication and report-writing skills Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reporting systems Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods indoors and outdoors Minimum Requirements Valid Ohio Class D Operator's License Minimum 18 years of age High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Professional appearance and demeanor Effective written and verbal communication skills Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Availability to work overnight shifts and weekends Must remain free from criminal indictment Professional Security Consultants PISGS #201021001641
