This position is for the overnight shift. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11pm-7am The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring on-site activity, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires strong observational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage situations calmly and professionally. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential safety concerns Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to ensure compliance with security procedures Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; provide first aid or CPR if necessary Enforce access control by verifying identification and maintaining accurate visitor logs Support loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing suspicious behavior Complete detailed incident reports and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Maintain a visible and professional presence to promote a safe and secure environment De-escalate conflicts using effective communication and conflict management techniques Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred Certification in First Aid, CPR, and conflict management strongly preferred Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) is an asset Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Physically able to perform patrol duties and respond quickly in emergencies Valid security license or certification in accordance with local regulations preferred
