Job Summary Security Officer - Event Monitoring Representative Allied Universal®, North America's leading security and facility services company, offers rewarding careers that provide you a sense of purpose. The Security Operations and Event Monitoring Center (SOEMC) supports the protection of company assets and personnel through 24/7 monitoring and response operations. This contract position provides operational and administrative support within the SOEMC, primarily focused on alarm monitoring, call handling, and routine administrative functions. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working in a high-tempo environment. Key Responsibilities Respond to and process incoming alarms using monitoring systems in accordance with established procedures. Answer inbound security-related calls and support internal customers with routine requests. Create and maintain accurate incident reports in real time. Monitor operational systems and queues to ensure consistent service levels and timely response. Perform administrative duties including data entry, report generation, and email communication. Operate effectively in a high-tempo environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel functions, to support tracking and reporting activities. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all documentation and communications. Adapt to evolving responsibilities based on performance, experience, and operational needs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute with accuracy. Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable working with multiple systems and technology platforms. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to remain focused and effective in a fast-paced work environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Administrative workload may be concentrated during overnight and early morning hours.
