Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the property through active patrols, surveillance systems, and thorough inspections. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address potential security issues or hazards Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises Control access points by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of visitors, staff, and contractors Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication Enforce security policies by conducting inspections and loss prevention measures Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations professionally and calmly Maintain detailed incident reports and shift logs for accountability and future reference Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies effectively Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security protocols, conflict resolution, and emergency response procedures Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
