Employee Position Summary:

PELTA Protective Specialists is seeking female Entry Control Point (ECP) Security Professionals to join our event security team at a high-profile private venue in Yellow Springs, Ohio. This position involves pat-down searches and metal detection screening of female guests only at the venue's entry checkpoint. Due to the nature of these duties, this position is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) exemption under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. This is a uniformed, unarmed role ideal for professionals who are calm under pressure, vigilant, and comfortable with close-contact search responsibilities. Security Professionals will operate under the direction of the ECP Lead and will be responsible for upholding safety, privacy, and professionalism at the venue's main entrance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and respectful pat-down searches of female guests only
• Use handheld wands to scan for prohibited items or concealed electronics
• Identify and report contraband, weapons, or policy violations
• Serve as a professional first point of contact at guest entry
• Communicate effectively via radio with ECP Lead and Command Staff
• Remain alert and observant at all times—no leaning, sitting, or distractions
• Document security incidents as directed
• Enforce venue policies with firmness and courtesy

Minimum Requirements:

• Female applicants only (BFOQ
• duties involve same-sex physical searches)
• Previous Security Experience

STRONGLY

preferred, similar experience (Military or LE) considered.

• Must be comfortable conducting physical pat-downs
• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Smartphone required for scheduling and communications
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work outdoors.
• Ability to bend over for full screening.
• Must pass Ohio BCI fingerprint-based background check
• Criminal history may disqualify candidates, depending on severity and offense date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security, guest screening, or crowd management
• Familiarity with wanding, pat-down procedures, or venue access control
• Experience with radio communications and incident documentation
• Background in military, law enforcement, or live-event operations a plus

Uniform Requirements:

The following attire is mandatory for all

ECP Professionals:

• Solid black suit jacket
• Solid white button-up dress shirt
• Solid black dress pants
• Solid black dress shoes Employees must present a clean, professional appearance while on duty.

Hairstyles must be neat and conservative, and hair dyed in unnatural colors (e.g., blue, green, purple) is not permitted. Visible tattoos may be a disqualifier. Certain piercings may also be a disqualifier. This policy is enforced equally across all roles and genders to maintain the professional image required for guest-facing positions. Applicants must arrive in full uniform and maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance at all times.

Schedule & Availability:

• Average of 6-8 events a month, but some months see more. Opportunities for other temporary uniformed work in addition.
• Shifts typically occur evenings and weekends
• Flexibility and reliability are critical to success in this role

• Failure to maintain professional uniform standards
• Inability to pass background check or BCI fingerprinting
